Our Story

Voodoo & Prayers was born in the UK in 2018 from a single, unshakeable belief — that music and healing are the same thing.

It started with Moojaa. A DJ and producer who had spent years on dancefloors and behind decks, watching what music does to a room full of people when it's exactly right. The way a bassline can dissolve something heavy. The way a synth can lift a crowd into something that feels, for a moment, like collective transcendence. He didn't think this was poetic. He thought it was literal. Music heals. The dancefloor is where it happens.

What he couldn't find was a label that treated it that way. A home for music built on that belief — music of quality, of imagination, of groove, chosen not by genre but by feeling. Music that moves at a higher frequency than most. So he built one.

The music came first. It always has. Artists from across the world — Colombia, Finland, Ukraine, the UK and beyond — brought into one place by one shared frequency. No genre walls. No compromise on quality. Just music that makes you feel something and doesn't apologise for it.

From the music came the artwork. From the very beginning, every release was given a visual identity rooted in the same philosophy as the sound — sacred geometry, cymatics, and the frequency patterns that nature has always carried, long before anyone thought to record them. The visible shape of what the music is trying to do. And from that artwork came the clothing — each piece a direct translation of a release, the same frequency worn on your back. The same world, expressed differently.

Voodoo & Prayers has since found its spiritual home in Ibiza — an island that understands, perhaps better than anywhere else on earth, what a dancefloor can do to a person.

But the belief that started it hasn't changed since 2018. Music is the ritual. Community is the congregation. And the frequency, if you're on it, you already know.

Underground music, art and culture. Higher frequency.
